Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based reception, clerical, medical record and patient registration functions.
• Sets priorities and handles emergencies calmly.
• Serves as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Manages overall unit workflow with the charge RN or assistant manager.
• Demonstrates professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers.
• Directs patients and customers and offers directions when needed.
• Uses service recovery skills to resolve problems.
• Works with others across departments to support patient care.
