Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and implements the non-nursing functions of assigned unit(s) to facilitate workflow, enhance unit productivity, and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Performs clerical and reception duties; requisition supplies, equipment, and services; assist with scheduling; may observe telemetry monitor and notify caregiver of changes; other duties as assigned.
