Job summary

Essentia Health in Superior, WI seeks a 0.6 FTE Emergency Services Technician for SMHS Hospital to support non-nursing functions and enhance unit productivity. You will perform clerical and reception duties, requisition supplies, and assist with scheduling while maintaining excellent patient service.

Preferred candidates have a health unit coordinator or medical secretary program, or at least 1 year of relevant hospital/clinic experience. No licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and implements non-nursing functions of assigned unit to facilitate workflow.

• May observe telemetry monitor and notify caregiver of changes; other duties as assigned.
