Job summary

Advocate Health at Advocate Trinity Hospital – Med Surg IU 2 North seeks a part-time administrative support person. The role coordinates tests and treatments across departments, manages communications, and uses the EMR system to handle orders and patient charges.

A high school diploma or GED is required, and no prior hospital experience is necessary. The position is 24 hours per week, with every other weekend, and pay ranges from $19.80 to $29.70 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates tests and treatments across departments to schedule patient care.
• Facilitates phone communications, paging, and hospital information systems.
• Uses EMR to order supplies and process daily patient charges.
• Compiles chart forms for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Verifies patient demographics and registration in medical records.
