Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri is seeking a Health Transit Services Manager to lead the Health Transit Services Department with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered transportation. You will coordinate schedules, oversee vehicle maintenance, hire and orient new team members, maintain driver records for audits, and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment.

Occasional driving duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Public health or community health experience recommended.
• Class E license issued by the State of Missouri and in good standing with DMV; First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team member schedules to ensure timely pick up and drop off for all scheduled appointments.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair needs for vehicles and the department.
• Address personnel and staffing needs, including hiring and orienting new team members.
• Maintain all driver records for state and agency audit requests.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Perform duties as a transit driver as needed.

• Hours:Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like:

The Health Transit Services Department coordinates transportation services for residents in our communities who require assistance to attend medical appointments.

As aHealth Transit Services Manager, you will be:

• Coordinating team member schedules to ensure timely pick up and drop off for all scheduled appointments
• Coordinating maintenance and repair needs for vehicles and the department
• Addressing personnel and staffing needs, including hiring and orienting new team members
• Maintaining all driver records for state and agency audit requests
• Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment
• Performing duties as a transit driver as needed

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Skills/Experience: Public health or community health experience recommended
• Licensure/Certification: Class E license issued by the State of Missouri and must be in good standing with Department of Motor Vehicles; First Aid
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking; ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. with and without assistance
