Nakupuna Companies seeks a Health Systems Strengthening Advisor in the Office of Program Transition and Supply Chain to lead health-systems transition planning for GHSD. Based in Washington, DC, this role ensures donor-supported activities integrate into national health functions and governance.

The position requires a Master’s degree and at least seven years of experience in health systems strengthening, with strong skills in coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Global Health, International Development, Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in health systems strengthening, global health, medicine, and/or integration of donor-supported activities into national systems
• Advanced knowledge of health financing, governance, and health systems integration

Responsabilités

• Develop and review health systems strengthening plans to ensure integration of donor-supported activities into national health system functions
• Provide technical guidance to align donor activities with national governance, service delivery, information systems, and supply chain institutions
• Coordinate with government counterparts and partners to facilitate smooth transitions
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of integration efforts and recommend improvements
• Prepare reports, briefings, and technical guidance documents for stakeholders
• Document lessons learned and best practices for health systems strengthening efforts
