Job summary

Qualifications

• MD and MPH degrees, or equivalent advanced training in medicine and public health.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in international development and/or global health.
• At least 5 years of experience working with a multilateral development institution (e.g., World Bank).
• Demonstrated background in clinical medicine, public health, health systems, health economics/financing, and monitoring and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Devise frameworks that promote effective use of clinical and financial resources across health program areas during health systems integration.
• Provide expert advice on health financing mechanisms to increase partner governments' self-reliance.
• Engage with private sector and pharmaceutical industry to improve health outcomes.
• Prepare analyses and options papers on health financing mechanisms for internal decision-makers.
• Design and update frameworks, models, or tools that improve efficiency and integration of resources.
• Draft or co-author policy papers, strategy documents, and guidance related to health systems integration.
