Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Distribution Technician to support Supply Chain Operations across facilities. Under supervision, you will provide high-level customer service to caregivers and departments and maintain quality assurance and stock control.

You will receive and store materials, process orders, assist with recalls, and deliver supplies to Brown University Health locations. Work hours are 6:30am–3:00pm, with weekend/holiday rotation as described.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or greater than five years relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in daily duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Brown University Health and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance and practice standards.
• Follows processes to ensure uninterrupted supply of equipment and supplies.
• Delivers orders to Brown University Health locations and unloads supplies.
• Maintains stock in assigned areas with orderly organization and clear labels.
• Performs stock counts, audits, and reconciliations as required.
• May provide guidance and training to new employees.
