Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or greater than five years relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in daily duties with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use distribution equipment including electric pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instruction manuals for operating and cleaning equipment; capable of minor mechanical adjustments.
• Numerical and clerical ability to check gauges, read charts and prepare departmental records.
• If driving, must have a good driving record and valid drivers license as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance and standards per policies and objectives.
• Recognizes or anticipates problems and refers to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Ensures uninterrupted supply of equipment and supplies to support Supply Chain Operations.
• Performs receiving, put away, and stock organization across Brown University Health locations.
• Delivers orders within Brown University Health locations; unloads supplies using pallet jacks and trucks as needed.
• Maintains stock in designated areas with clear labels; manages par levels and reorder quantities.
• Implements inventory management and recalls; processes stock counts and reconciliations.
• Provides training and guidance to new employees as required.
