Job summary

Aon is seeking an Health Solutions AVP/VP, Financial Manager in the United States with extensive health and benefits underwriting experience to lead financial activities for assigned clients. The role supports executive decision-making and pricing analyses within a collaborative health analytics team.

The position offers hybrid work arrangements, opportunities across multiple locations (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte), and eligibility for annual incentives in addition to base salary.

Qualifications

• Eight plus of years health and benefits underwriting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong proficiency in self-insured and fully insured funding arrangements.
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all financial activities for assigned clients.
• Prepare regular (monthly or quarterly) financial reporting packages for clients, leveraging existing templates.
• Assist in collecting and completing input for various financial models such as IBNR, Actuarial Value Plan or Pricing Models.
• Analyze ad hoc data using advanced functions in Excel and communicate findings with internal client teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct ad-hoc projects such as Health Care Reform impact modeling, plan changes, self-funded vs. fully insured analysis.
• Develop executive summaries on key financial components of marketing with recommendations.
• Review financial caveats, deviations and notes in proposals and add notes to client RFP presentations.
• Review insurance carrier renewal calculations for medical, dental, vision, life and disability and identify negotiation opportunities.
