Aon seeks Health Solutions leadership at AVP/VP level to oversee financial management for assigned client portfolios. The role requires expert underwriting in health & benefits, and strong exposure to self-insured and fully insured funding models, with advanced MS Office skills.

You will prepare regular financial packages, analyze models, and present findings to client teams and stakeholders, while guiding ad-hoc projects and renewal analyses to support negotiation and decision making.

Qualifications

• Eight plus of years health and benefits underwriting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong proficiency in self-insured and fully insured funding arrangements
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all financial activities for assigned clients
• Prepare regular (monthly or quarterly) financial reporting packages for clients, leveraging existing templates
• Assist in collecting and completing input for various financial models such as Incurred But Not Reported Claims model, Actuarial Value Plan Model and Pricing Models
• Analyze ad hoc data using advanced functions in Excel and effectively communicate findings with both internal client team and stakeholders at the client
• Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed using appropriate resources (Health Care Reform impactmodeling, plan changes, self-funded vs. fully insured analysis, etc.)
• Develop executive summary on all key financial components of marketing andprovide recommendations
• Review financial caveats, deviations and other notes in proposals, addappropriate notes to the client RFP results presentation
• Review insurance carrier renewal calculations for medical, dental, vision, life and disability and identify areas for negotiation
