Community of Hope in Washington, DC is seeking a Health Services Risk Manager to assist in the development and implementation of the COH Risk Management Program, focusing on health services elements and risk to patient outcomes. This full-time role is based at our Conway Health & Resource Center in SW, Washington, DC.

You'll ensure HRSA Community Health Center risk management requirements to support FTCA deeming status, monitor quarterly UIRs and dashboards, and collaborate with COH teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required.
• Minimum three years healthcare experience.
• Experience with incident reporting and risk management desired.
• Strong writing, data presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to other COH sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Health Services Risk Management Plan.
• Ensure FTCA deeming documentation is up to date.
• Monitor FTCA-related requirements.
• Complete quarterly Health Services Risk Management dashboard.
• Present Annual Risk Management Update to the Board.
• Analyze Unusual Incident Reports and close out UIRs.
• Provide safety resources and develop UIR reporting guidelines.
• Participate in monthly environment of care rounds and Risk Mgmt Committee.
• Assist in high-risk assessments and support improvement initiatives.
• Develop staff education on risk exposure.
• Perform other duties as requested.
