Job summary

Waterfall Community Health Center seeks a Compliance Officer to lead and administer its Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws, HRSA Health Center Program requirements, FTCA, and grant conditions.

Reporting to the CEO and Board access; you will develop policies, oversee investigations, coordinate risk management, and educate staff to foster a culture of integrity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare admin, public health, or related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare compliance, auditing, or risk management.
• Experience in highly regulated healthcare environment (FQHC preferred).
• CHC/CCEP/CHC certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of the Corporate Compliance Program.
• Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls with responsible leaders.
• Advise CEO and Board on compliance risks and actions.
• Coordinate with HR, Legal, Finance, and IT to integrate compliance.
• Oversee HRSA and FTCA compliance activities and examinations.
• Establish confidential reporting mechanisms and conduct investigations.
• Provide regular risk management reporting to leadership and Board.
