Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively increasing leadership responsibilities in research, academic, government, nonprofit, health system, consulting, or related environment.
• Nationally recognized expertise in NORC Health Sciences relevance.
• Proven success leading large, multidisciplinary research portfolios and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Health Sciences department with accountability for strategy, client relationships, project delivery, financial performance, and staff.
• Develop a long-term strategy to strengthen portfolio and grow across federal, state, and local markets.
• Maintain senior relationships with contracting officers, program officials, and scientific leaders.
• Provide oversight for multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility.
• Lead department-based business development, including market intelligence, opportunities, and partnerships.
• Advance health data platforms, AI-enabled research operations, and health informatics capabilities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and staff.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable culture across distributed teams.
