Job summary

American Water is seeking a Health & Safety Program Manager to lead safety and health initiatives, support loss control, and advise on regulatory compliance within our operations. You will develop programs, conduct trainings, and help minimize exposure to loss across the organization.

The role emphasizes delivering compliant safety training, auditing safety processes, and assisting in accident investigations to prevent reoccurrences and improve overall safety performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of risk management policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Experience applying regulatory requirements to training and development.
• Associate degree required in safety or loss control; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety training programs compliant with regulations.
