Job summary

American Water seeks a Senior, Environmental, Health & Safety Program Manager to oversee EH&S programs at MSG/CSG locations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards. You will train staff, coordinate with regulators, and serve as the main POC for EH&S matters across the site.

The role requires strong leadership, field/offi ce balance (60% field, 40% office), and ability to implement corporate EH&S policies while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in sanitary, chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in EH&S compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the EH&S program at MSG/CSG locations.
• Ensure environmental compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Lead training on EH&S materials for staff and visitors.
• Interface with regulators, inspectors, and auditors.
