Hudbay Minerals is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for the Cactus Project in Arizona. You will lead safety programs across construction, mine operations, processing, and offices, ensuring compliance with MSHA and OSHA, and aligning objectives with Hudbay’s safety culture.

You will supervise safety staff, oversee training, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting, while fostering a proactive safety culture across all project phases and site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline.
• MSHA and OSHA regulatory knowledge applicable to copper mining, processing, and construction.
• Experience supervising safety staff and managing safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to ensure health and safety policies align with company objectives.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action follow-ups.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs on new standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee contractor safety management and ISN pre-qualification workflows.
