Responsibilities

• Sorts, files, and collates health records and information into patient health record in sequence per procedure.
• Filing paperwork and reports from other agencies into patient health record within established timeframes.
• Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing records electronically per policy.
• Ensuring all health records are protected and confidential.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence to patients and other agencies (fax, mail, inter-office courier, EHR messages).
• Ensures release of health records is logged in ROI module; retrieves records to answer authorized requests.
