Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Pursuits Manager to lead the Health practice pursuits in the United States. You will guide a team through strategy, proposals, interviews, and post-pursuit follow-up, aligning client needs with HDR capabilities.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and the ability to balance process with flexibility, collaborating across Architecture Marketing Studio and sector leadership to win competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with ability to complete projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of the A/E/C procurement of professional services.
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Ability to travel and engage with others in-person.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in sales and developing win strategies.
• Experience writing compelling content based on input from technical staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support priority Health sector pursuits in the U.S.
• Mentor and develop a team of pursuit professionals.
• Oversee complete pursuit lifecycle from strategy to submission.
• Facilitate pursuit strategy kickoff meetings and align teams.
• Develop persuasive, client-focused proposals and presentations.
• Manage pursuit budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate with cross-sector teams for capacity and expertise.
• Present pursuit information in sector webinars and leadership meetings.
