Job summary

KCSC of Greater Washington is seeking a Part-time Health Program Coordinator to lead the 12-week Family Healthy Weight Program, recruit youth under 17, and collaborate with staff and community partners to promote health equity.

Under the Director of Health Services, you will plan activities, coordinate sites, engage volunteers, design outreach materials, and monitor outcomes to improve program impact and accessibility for Asian American communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, community health, or related field.
• Experience leading fitness or structured activity sessions is a plus.
• 1 year in public health or program coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of health disparities and community engagement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Bilingual English and Korean required; Korean community knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children and youth under 17 for the 12-week program.
• Coordinate weekly sessions with sites; manage logistics and materials.
• Engage partner organizations; represent KCSC in coalitions.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and instructors.
• Design outreach materials and lead community events.
• Monitor attendance and outcomes; report to funders and stakeholders.
