Job summary

Alliance For Aging Inc is seeking a Program Coordinator to support daily operations of population health programs, including training delivery, scheduling, client home visits, and program reporting.

You will supervise volunteers and subcontractors, develop partnerships, and assist in grants management under the Director of Planning and Population Health. Strong bilingual communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in health education, social work, gerontology, nutrition, public health or related field.
• At least two years’ experience in human services or related field; combination of education and work experience considered.
• Public speaking skills are a must; bilingual English-Spanish is required.
• Experience with older adults is highly desirable; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trainings, presentations and workshops.
• Speak to groups about health topics and develop community partnerships.
• Coordinate volunteers, trainers, caregivers, subcontractors and interns; assist CHWs for program fidelity.
• Develop and schedule program activities and events; track deliverables.
• Prepare reports and invoices; monitor expenditures and time entries.
• Respond to questions/issues from internal and external customers.
• Recruit community partners and volunteers using promotional methods.
• Assist in grants management and grant writing.
• Stay updated on population health issues relevant to elders.
• Assist with disaster/emergency response as needed.
