Job summary

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is seeking a Program Assistant II to provide advanced administrative and program support for the School of Nursing and Health Professions (SoNHP). This on-campus role partners with the Dean, School Director, and university offices to maintain compliance, coordinate student clinical placements, and support marketing, recruitment, and graduation activities.

Qualifications

• Draft clear, grammatically correct correspondence and professional documents (e.g., emails, reports, letters).
• Experience in an academic/administrative/clerical office role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process student clinical site placements.
• Maintain compliance records and manage confidential data in multiple systems.
• Assist with program marketing, recruitment, retention, and graduation activities.
• Serve as a primary contact for prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Collaborate across campus to ensure smooth processes and review program materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Guide student employees when applicable.
