Qualifications

• Significant experience managing enterprise application delivery or production support within a health plan or payer environment.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional technical teams supporting business-critical applications.
• Working knowledge of provider operations and the technology supporting provider data, network management, directories, or related payer functions.
• Experience supporting core payer platforms and their integrations; familiarity with TriZetto Facets is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage production incidents, vendor escalations, application enhancements, and concurrent projects.
• Experience with resource planning, service-level management, change management, and budget oversight.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical issues into business impacts and actionable decisions.
• Ability to enter an established environment, build relationships quickly, and lead with limited ramp-up time.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of application administrators, analysts, software engineers, and technical resources supporting provider-focused enterprise applications.
• Maintain continuity of application operations, production support, enhancements, and in-flight projects.
• Partner with provider operations, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and address delivery risks.
• Oversee applications and integrations supporting provider data, network management, provider directories, and capitation processes.
• Coordinate with pharmacy and claims technology teams on shared dependencies, including PBM integrations, billing interfaces, and accumulator management, as applicable.
• Manage incidents, service escalations, and problem resolution while maintaining established service levels and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee vendor relationships, support performance, issue resolution, and delivery commitments.
• Manage team workload, resource capacity, project milestones, and competing operational demands.
• Maintain established change management, release, testing, and production readiness practices.
• Monitor portfolio spending and resource forecasts within existing budget expectations.
• Provide clear status reporting to leadership on application performance, delivery progress, risks, and decisions requiring escalation.
• Complete an organized transition into the assignment and a documented handoff when the permanent manager returns.
