Job summary

SYSTEM West Virginia University Health System is seeking an IT analytics leader to guide enterprise data initiatives, including Epic Clarity/Caboodle data management and reporting. You will mentor analysts, manage multiple analytics projects, and partner with clinical and IT leadership to translate data into actionable insights.

The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and scalable data models using Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and Power BI, with a focus on enterprise analytics strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years IT experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree plus 4 years IT experience.
• High School Diploma plus 5 years IT experience.
• Internal employees must meet current position competencies to qualify for promotion within IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop IT teams, align efforts with organizational goals.
• Identify and resolve production issues and escalate when needed.
• Document issues/requests per policy and maintain system availability.
• Coordinate projects, allocate resources, and manage milestones.
• Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing education to team members.
• Manage vendor interactions, demonstrations, and deployments.
• Oversee system upgrades and testing, including EHR-related changes.
