Accendra Health is seeking a Billing Support Associate to verify insurance coverage and manage medical documentation. You will handle inquiries, obtain documentation, and ensure accurate entry in ERP systems while meeting KPIs.

The role requires 1-2 years in customer service and familiarity with medical terminology and insurance codes. A high school diploma is required; remote options are not indicated.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
• Relative reimbursement and/or billing and collections experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer questions from customers, clerical staff, insurance companies and physician offices.
• Make outbound calls to obtain appropriate documentation for reimbursement of orders shipped.
• Utilize resources to identify and resolve customer issues or reimbursement discrepancies.
• Ability to verify customer benefits via phone, fax, and web portal.
• Submit authorizations or pre-certification requests to multi-state payers over multiple platforms.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, teammates, healthcare professionals, and sales team.
• Review and approve documentation received by third parties for submission to payors for reimbursement.
• Document activities in ERP system accurately and timely.
• Meet and attain required KPIs.
