Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Health Information Operations Supervisor to lead, train, and support HIS staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and ROI processes. This on-site role supports client locations in the Virginia Beach area and collaborates with leadership on projects.

You will supervise the audit team, handle escalations, and drive process improvements while coordinating with local management to meet staffing needs and deliver high-quality health information operations services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of Health Information related experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to travel locally and work on-site regularly.
• Experience with ROI and EMR systems required.
• Well-versed with HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Audit Team which receives requests from Payors.
• Review data and provide client and leadership solutions.
• Manage the Request coming in from the Risk Management Team of the client.
• Be the leader of client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
• Oversee the escalation calls from our centralized call centers.
• Participates in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinates with location/client management on complex issues while building a strong relationship.
• Assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects.
• Provide support to Health Information Operations Manager and staff.
