Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Health Information Operations Supervisor to lead front-line operations across multiple sites in Birmingham, AL. The role emphasizes staffing, coaching, and delivering compliant health information services.

You will oversee on-site and hybrid associates, manage schedules and timecards, and drive KPIs while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership philosophy focused on serving others.
• 1-2 years of Health Information related experience.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA standards.
• Proficiency with Power BI and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating across multiple sites and teams.
• Ability to lead audits and deliver client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate a growing and excited team.
• Communicate and collaborate with leadership on issues, opportunities, or challenges.
• Lead Audit Team which receives requests from Payors.
• Review data and provide client and leadership solutions.
• Bring new ideas and process improvement suggestions to internal stakeholders.
• Manage requests from the Risk Management Team of the client.
• Be the leader of client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
• Oversee escalation calls from centralized call centers.
• Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies.
• Coordinate with location/client management on complex issues while building strong relationships.
