Datavant is seeking an Area Lead to support daily ROI operations at facilities in the Fairfax area. This role will act as a leader, mentor, and primary contact for staff and clients, providing on-site coverage as needed.

You will assist with onboarding, training, and workflow support, while coordinating with stakeholders to address coverage gaps, volume fluctuations, and site challenges. HIPAA compliance and data privacy are essential throughout all duties.

Qualificações

• High school diploma from an Accredited Institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to travel local/regionally 75% or more of the time.
• 1 year Health Information related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Proficient with standard office equipment and software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site coverage at assigned facilities as operational needs arise.
• Support ROI operations across health systems and associated clinics.
• Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and workflow support for HIS staff.
• Communicate staffing needs, coverage gaps, and site challenges proactively.
• Support productivity, quality, and service improvement initiatives.
• Process medical record and ROI requests, maintaining confidentiality.
• Handle high-volume calls from patients, providers, and requestors.
