Job summary

Select Medical Holdings is hiring an experienced Health Information Manager (RHIA/RHIT) to lead the HIM team on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role focuses on records management, release of information, and data governance to support our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital division.

Responsibilities include managing staff, developing training, ensuring HIM policy compliance, and generating management reports.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology or associated health care field required.
• Three to five years of management experience in Health Information or clinical role with knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with Epic or other electronic health record and other database programs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with urgency and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage health information staff day-to-day including orientation, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with HIM policies and procedures.
• Develop educational programs and staff training.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure productivity and accuracy standards.
• Serve as subject matter expert on compliant documentation practices.
• Generate and analyze management reports.
