Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Norfolk is seeking a Health Information Management professional to maintain residents' medical records, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as the Compliance Liaison for the facility.

Roles include managing medical records lifecycle, coordinating documentation with hospitals, auditing records, and supporting QAPI reporting, with RHIT/RHIA credential preferred and a minimum of two years in a health care setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Health Information Management or Healthcare Administration.
• RHIT or RHIA credential preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' medical records in accordance with facility policies and with state and federal regulations.
• Serve as the designated Compliance Liaison for the facility.
• Coordinate record requests and ensure timely inclusion in patient charts.
• Conduct routine audits and support QAPI reporting.
