Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Health Information Management Manager to lead the HIM department, manage ICD-10-CM coding for admissions and admissions-related care, and ensure timely documentation across the facility’s EHR.

The role requires RHIA/RHIT (preferred) or equivalent long-term care medical records experience, plus strong computer and medical terminology skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• RHIA/RHIT certification preferred or 3 years Long Term Care Medical Records experience required.
• Must have computer knowledge and experience.
• Must have medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the EHR system, ensuring providers sign e-orders and reviews within the required timeframe.
• Submits monthly trend reports and participates in QA meetings.
• Coordinates ARD process between facility and Corporate Management Audit & Appeals staff.
