Job summary

Datavant is seeking an ROI Specialist to handle medical record requests with accuracy and privacy compliance. The role requires 75%+ travel and at least 1 year of HIM experience, using multiple EMR systems and MS Office to document and communicate effectively.

You will manage incoming faxes, burn CDs, handle calls, and maintain patient health information across platforms. Training is provided, with full benefits and a 8:00am-4:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year Health Information related experience.
• Ability to travel 75%+ locally.
• Detail and quality oriented for medical records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Adhere to HIPAA standards and company policies.
• Respond to requests from internal/external sources and retrieve records.
• Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and manage faxes.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Generate reports for manager or facility as directed.
