Job summary

Wexner Medical Center seeks a Data Integrity Manager to lead Medical Information Management activities, including EMPI, chart correction, and transcription services, ensuring EHR integrity, quality, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. This role drives patient safety and documentation excellence across the health system.

You will supervise staff, manage workflows, and partner with clinical, operational, and IT leadership to deliver data-driven improvements and sustain compliant data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information administration or equivalent required; 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Master’s degree in business administration, computer and information science or public administration preferred.
• Considerable progressively responsible administrative medical information management experience required.
• Knowledge and experience with electronic health record and health information management applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership for Medical Information Management functions including EMPI, Chart Correction, Medical Identity Theft Resolution, Deficiency Tracking, Medical Record Completion, and Transcription Services Management.
• Ensure integrity, quality, accessibility, and legal reliability of the electronic health record (EHR) while supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, documentation excellence, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the health system to develop and implement solutions that improve patient safety, documentation quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and data integrity.
