Job summary

Qualifications

• Level II: 3 years of diagnostic and procedure coding in hospital, facility, or physician office.

Responsibilities

• Code and abstract routine to complex patient records per ICD/CPT and coding conventions.
• Assist OSHPD reporting by identifying DRG for proper reimbursement.
• Assist in compiling hospital statistics and training junior coders.
• Review documentation and verify coding and DRG assignments for billing requests.
