Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Health Informaticist to support EPIC-based clinical and operational systems across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will analyze workflows, design improvements, and develop data-driven reports to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Primarily remote with periodic in-person visits, this role collaborates with clinical teams and IT to support the Whole Person Care mission and reliable information systems. A strong knowledge of EPIC and change management is preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years business analyst and/or health informaticist supporting EPIC applications in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
2+ years facilitating workflow sessions, identifying root causes, and supporting action plans (PDSA, Waterfall, and/or Agile).
Knowledge of health informatics concepts and change-management principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and information systems support to patient care and operational areas.
Develop reports, spreadsheets and databases from multiple data sources to monitor performance and outcomes.
Lead/assist informatics improvement projects and participate in cross-functional design sessions.
