Job summary

The Health Informatics Manager will mentor team members, manage multiple concurrent projects, and collaborate across clinical, technology, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant informatics experience using data to drive outcomes, improve experience, and efficiencies.
• 2+ years of experience with EHRs and clinical solutions (Epic, or Oracle Health) to drive outcomes and optimization projects.
• 1+ years of team lead or people management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment managing multiple concurrent projects with strong communication and relationship management.
• Experience working with fully remote project teams and leading projects to successful completion.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, Visio, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 50% annually; travel requirements may vary by project."],

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and optimization of clinical, EHR-integrated, and AI-enabled solutions with governance, adoption planning, and training considerations.
• Develop and manage project plans including scope, schedules, dependencies, resources, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, Optum teams, and sponsors to align expectations and sustain stakeholder relationships from discovery through implementation.
• Use data and clinician feedback to identify workflow improvements and address health IT adoption challenges.
• Evaluate EHR-native and AI capabilities; define high-impact use cases, roadmaps, and implementation specs.
• Document current-state workflows and design future-state AI-enabled workflows with governance and risk standards.
• Mentor informatics team members and drive continuous improvement across projects.
• Lead client sessions and executive readouts with clinical, IT, and business stakeholders.
