Job summary

Optum Insight is seeking a Health Informatics Manager to lead multi‑project implementations of clinical, EHR‑integrated, and AI‑enabled solutions, guiding workflow redesign and governance. You will mentor informatics staff, collaborate with clinical and IT leaders, and ensure delivery on scope, timelines, resources and outcomes while promoting responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of informatics experience driving outcomes using data.
• 2+ years with EHRs and clinical solutions (Epic or Oracle Health).
• 1+ years as a team lead or people manager.
• Experience in fast-paced agile environments with multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with project tools: Smartsheet, Visio, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and optimization of clinical, EHR-integrated, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop and manage project plans with scope, schedules, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and sponsors to align expectations.
• Use data and clinician feedback to identify workflow and tech improvements.
• Define high-impact use cases, roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Mentor informatics team and drive continuous improvement.
