Job summary

UC San Diego Health's Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion seeks a Program Coordinator to support administration, planning, and execution of student and mentor programs. You will coordinate activities, manage applications and communications, and facilitate events.

You will track program data, support financial and operational processes, and serve as a central point of contact for participants, mentors, faculty, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations aligned with institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with administrative analysis and operations research.
• Communication skills; includes verbal, written and active listening.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with learners and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; calendar management in complex schedules.
• Knowledge of educational technology and systems; ability to troubleshoot related issues.
• Investigative, data analysis, and reporting skills to generate and validate reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program operations including teaching and learning activities, curriculum, learner scheduling, and data tracking.
• Maintain databases and ensure learner compliance and accreditation requirements where applicable.
• Manage applications and communications; facilitate events and meetings.
• Serve as central point of contact for program participants, mentors, faculty, and stakeholders.
