Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Medical Teaching Labs Coordinator within the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education to provide administrative, operational and project support for courses, programs, and educational activities.

You will coordinate scheduling, room utilization, instructional resources and day-to-day operations, serving as a liaison among faculty, staff, students and campus partners to resolve logistical issues and support Anatomical Services and other anatomy-based initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and active listening.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of educational technology and systems; ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to complete work and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, operational, and project support for courses, programs, and educational activities conducted within the Medical Teaching Labs.
• Coordinate scheduling, room utilization, instructional resources, and day-to-day operations to ensure effective delivery of educational activities.
• Serve as a liaison among faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to facilitate communication, resolve logistical issues, and support a positive learning environment.
• Monitors lab-related processes and requirements, assists with planning and implementation of educational activities, and contributes to special projects and operational initiatives.
• Provides support for special projects and activities related to Anatomical Services and other anatomy-based educational initiatives as assigned.
