Job summary

UC San Diego Health Sciences seeks a coordinator to support undergraduate medical education through curriculum planning, course operations, and educational technology. This role collaborates with UGME and faculty to ensure program integrity and accreditation readiness.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Preclinical Curriculum, the position helps manage LMS, digital accessibility, and instructional resources while coordinating with diverse stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with and gain trust from department senior management, faculty, and students.
• Proven ability in problem identification, reasoning, analysis to identify trends.
• Proven ability to find solutions to conflicting situations.
• Thorough knowledge of department, organization, and University policies, procedures, and directives.
• Thorough knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
• Thorough knowledge of department and school / college general and major course and degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum planning and course operations with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate instructional resources, learner scheduling, and data management.
• Manage learning management systems, educational technology, and digital accessibility initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty, course directors, and leadership to implement improvements.
• Provide consultation, training, and ongoing support on curriculum processes and accessibility.
