Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Program Coordinator for Project ECHO Nevada to support the Senior Program Manager and Program Manager in developing, implementing, and facilitating educational activities and programmatic sessions.

The role requires coordinating information flow among faculty, participants, and diverse stakeholders, plus marketing, outreach, recruitment, and site liaison duties. Travel to rural Nevada communities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a master’s degree and one year of related work experience.
• Experience in program coordination or program management; community outreach, education, public health, healthcare, or related work.
• Nevada driver’s license.
• Travel to rural communities.
• Variable work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of Project ECHO educational activities to enhance the knowledge base of healthcare and public health professionals through case consultations with subject matter experts.
• Coordinate the logistics and programmatic aspects for successful program implementation including, but not limited to curriculum development and session-wise materials, target audience selection and recruitment activities, onboarding of participants and faculty, recruitment and collection of case reviews, and participant follow-up support.
• Coordinate activities and facilitate meetings with a variety of individuals from within OSI, UNR Med, NSHE, community agencies, state agencies, healthcare organizations, as well as higher education, healthcare, and government agencies in other states.
• Conduct programmatic marketing, outreach, and recruitment activities to meet attendance targets and ensure program impact.
• Assist with site visits intended to maintain relationships with existing and develop relationships with new sites to promote the program and conduct needs assessments.
