Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a Health Data Interoperability Director to lead Missouri’s Medicaid interoperability initiatives and oversee the Missouri Integrated Health Data Fabric. You will guide standards-based interoperability, ensure CMS and state compliance, and manage vendor relationships, while coordinating with ITSD, MO HealthNet, and other agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and six or more years of professional experience, preferably in Medicaid, social services, and/or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert on standards-based interoperability.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and CMS guidance on interoperability.
• Advise on procurement of solutions using interoperable standards.
• Oversee Health Information Network (HIN) contracts and related projects.
• Lead design and implementation of Missouri Integrated Health Data Fabric.
• Acquire federal funding for interoperability initiatives.
• Participate in internal and national workgroups and boards.
• Manage relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors.
