Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a Health Data Interoperability Director to lead standards-based interoperability initiatives within MO HealthNet. You will oversee the Missouri Integrated Health Data Fabric and partner with ITSD, MO HealthNet, and other DSS divisions.

You will advise on procurement, manage vendor relationships, and align efforts with federal CMS guidance to advance Missouri’s Medicaid interoperability agenda.

Qualifications

• SME on standards-based interoperability and regulations.
• Ability to read/interpret state and federal interoperability laws and rules.
• Experience guiding procurement and contract oversight for interoperability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on standards-based interoperability.
• Ensure compliance with CMS and state interoperability guidance.
• Advise on procurement of interoperable solutions.
• Oversee HIN services contracts and related projects.
• Lead design/development of Missouri Integrated Health Data Fabric.
• Pursue federal funding for interoperability initiatives.
• Engage in internal and external workgroups and steering committees.
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners.
