Sabot Consulting, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead a data systems assessment and enterprise data governance design for the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

The role focuses on documenting current state, identifying gaps, and defining next steps without implementing new technology. Requirements include 5+ years in data governance or state-level enterprise PM, strong regulatory knowledge, and Missouri public health project experience.

Qualifications

• At least five years in data science, management, governance, AI, or state-level enterprise PM experience.
• Strong knowledge of data assessments, governance, and management in the public sector.
• Missouri public health state project experience is required.
• CDMP or PMP or equivalent credentials preferred.

• Translate findings into modernization principles, practical target-state direction, and sequenced actions.

Sabot Consulting is looking for a Project Manager to work on a data systems assessment and enterprise data governance design for the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service

Salary

to $150K

Responsibilities:

Document current state, identify material gaps and risks and define next steps

Focus on select priority systems and data exchanges - not implement new technology or remediate deficiencies

Identify how data is shared, what information is exchanged, why it is shared, how and how often it is transmitted, where it is processed or stored, and what agreements, approvals, and what security controls govern the exchange

Will clarify data ownership, stewardship, decision rights, approval authorities, maintenance responsibilities, standards-setting, and issue escalation

Identify material data quality and consistency concerns

Validate and prioritize the Enterprise System Inventory

Translate findings into modernization principles, a practical target-state direction, prioritized opportunities, dependencies, decision points, and sequenced next steps

Qualifications:

• at least five (5) or more years of relevant experience in data science, management, governance, artificial intelligence, and/or strong state-level enterprise project management experience.

• strong technical, statutory and regulatory, and public sector knowledge related to data assessments, governance, and management.

• Must have previous public health state project experience in Missouri

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) credential from DAMA International and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar credentials.
