Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, healthcare, insurance enrollment, patient financial services, or related field.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, or commercial insurance plans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists uninsured and underinsured patients with obtaining health insurance coverage through Medicaid, HawkI, Marketplace plans, and other programs.
• Supports outreach and in-reach efforts to promote coverage options.
• Collaborates with clinic staff to resolve insurance-related issues affecting patient care or reimbursement.
• Maintains accurate documentation within required enrollment systems.
