Job summary

Family Practice & Counseling Services Network in Philadelphia is seeking an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist to expand access to health insurance and quality primary, dental, and behavioral care for patients and community residents.

The role delivers outreach, education, and enrollment assistance for uninsured and underinsured individuals, builds partnerships with local organizations, and supports trauma-informed care across the clinic network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Licenses and certifications (or ability to obtain) are required.
• At least 1 year of experience with PA health insurance programs is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally within service area with mileage reimbursement.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Educate about health coverage options and provide follow-up for ongoing coverage.
• Provide enrollment assistance for uninsured individuals in Medicaid, CHIP, and Marketplace.
• Assist patients with applications and documentation throughout enrollment and renewal.
• Engage with community partners and attend events to promote services.
• Track outcomes and report enrollment data in the EMR and to CHC as required.
