Equitas Health in Ohio is seeking a part-time Financial Counselor to provide timely financial counseling to uninsured or underinsured patients. You will assist with Medicaid enrollments and Marketplace options, guiding clients through coverage and costs while coordinating referrals for program support.

Responsibilities include educating patients on potential out-of-pocket expenses, applying for financial assistance, and liaising with care teams to ensure seamless access to services.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Experience with EPIC or other medical software is a plus.
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse communities.

Responsabilités

• Counsel uninsured or underinsured patients on financial resources and coverage options.
• Assist patients with Ohio Medicaid or Health Insurance Marketplace enrollments.
• Coordinate referrals to programs like Ryan White and PAPI; maintain eligibility documentation.
