Greater Richmond Fit4Kids Inc is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to support afterschool programming across the Richmond region. The role focuses on delivering health coaching, leading hands-on cooking classes, and providing flexible program coverage to help reach more kids and families.

The position is in-person with late afternoons and some evenings required. The starting salary is $45,000, plus employee health insurance, a partial stipend toward dependent-child coverage, and generous

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in person across Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Hopewell, and Petersburg
• Availability for late afternoons and some evenings during afterschool programming
• Access to reliable transportation
• Demonstrated commitment to a healthy lifestyle
• Experience working with groups of children and leading educational sessions
• Experience in health coaching, nutrition education, early childhood education, or cooking instruction is a plus
• Flexible, adaptable team player who can shift between programs
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
• Attention to detail and multitasking
• Experience interacting with ethnically and socio-economically diverse communities
• Proficient in computer and internet-based programs for communication and reporting
• Ability to complete a background check

Responsibilities

• Deliver health coaching sessions at partner childcare centers
• Lead in-person cooking classes for children
• Provide program coverage and support for other Fit4Kids programs as needed
• Support growth and implementation of new and existing Fit4Kids initiatives
• Maintain communication with staff, childcare centers, schools, families, and community partners
• Collect and enter data for program evaluation and reporting
• Assist with program materials, supplies, and logistics
