Job summary

The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond is seeking a mature, reliable, part-time team member to join the Programs department and manage the Grocery Pick Up program in Richmond, VA. The role covers client intake, scheduling, and execution of related tasks in a 25-30 hour workweek.

This position also involves inventory control, volunteer orientation and training, and data entry, with occasional substitutions for the Program Manager and support for four annual community food distributions.

Qualifications

• Availability Monday- Friday 9:30am-3:30pm; Some Saturdays.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.
• Reliable personal vehicle for delivery and product pick up.
• Excellent time management skills; detail-oriented and personable.
• Non-profit experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Pick up program - client intake, communication and schedules; including reminder calls/texts, inventory management and procurement, pack bags.
• Assist the Program Manager with all aspects of Client Services.
• Data Entry and other administrative tasks.
• Orient, train and schedule volunteers for the program.
• Support the Executive Director with 4 community food distributions a year.
• Manage programs in the absence of the Program Manager.
• Assist with food donations and drives if needed.
• Help the Operations team with weekly Truck Tuesdays, and cleanings.
