Job summary

Alameda Alliance is seeking a Technical Analyst II to provide analysis and support for health care applications, authorizations and enrollment file management. The role reports to the Senior Manager, IT Applications and emphasizes requirements analysis, configurations, and production change management.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering and support teams to improve system performance, automate where possible and maintain robust documentation across health care data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or Health Care-related field desirable.
• 5 years' experience as technical analyst/engineer and 3 years in health care payer settings.

Responsibilities

• Determine requirements, design, build, test, implement, maintain and enhance business systems.
• Analyze and fix technical problems and deficiencies or automate to improve performance.
• Create/edit configurations and validate changes, coordinating production push.
• Collaborate with operations, projects, engineering and support to prioritize objectives.
• Develop or modify call center application workflows and document change requests.
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams and perform gap analysis across apps and data flows.
• Provide support to meet customer service levels, identify root causes and escalate as needed.
• Evaluate system efficiency and resource use to meet business needs.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
